Curious Mind

I’m Alex, the curious mind behind Time Money Code — a digital homelab where I explore the intersection of time, money, and code. This site blends technology, finance, and personal growth into practical tools and ideas designed to make life more efficient and intentional.

I document experiments, build tools, and share strategies that automate effort and grow wealth using code, AI, and systems thinking. I'm especially passionate about designing systems that save time, reduce friction, and create leverage — whether for everyday life or long-term financial health.

Why I Created This

A few years ago, I started building Python scripts to automate repetitive financial tasks. That hobby grew into apps. Then into a blog. And now into something bigger: a space for sharing what I learn while building tools and systems that help others take control of their time, money, and focus.

This site is my lab and my notebook. If you're interested in practical tools, smarter workflows, or just thinking more clearly about life through the lens of code and systems, you’re in the right place.

If you're into building a smarter life through tech, you can join my newsletter or check out my project portfolio, including web apps like my portfolio rebalancer.

What I Work On

Here’s what you’ll often find me building, writing about, or experimenting with:

  • Automating tasks with Python
  • Investing and developing personal finance tools
  • Semi-automated trading strategies
  • Productivity systems and digital minimalism
  • AI workflows and small custom tools
  • Self-hosted software and open-source infrastructure
  • Documenting and sharing through writing and code

Everything I create aims to be practical, efficient, and accessible.

Support My Work

If you find value in what I share — be it tools, articles, or code — consider leaving a small tip via Ko-fi. Your support helps cover hosting costs and fuels the late-night sessions where most of these ideas come to life.

Every tip goes directly into building more practical tools, writing deeper content, and exploring new projects around time, money, and code.

Thank you for being part of this journey.
